Bible Journaling: Psalms 46:10

This week in my Bible journal entry I am in Psalms 46:10, which says,”Be still and know that I am God.” In our busy lives, we are going, going, going and sometimes forget to breathe. God wants us to stop, pray and be still, so we can hear what he wants for our lives. He wants us to have faith that he will carry us through no matter what we have going on.

In my entry, I am using a new collection I purchased by Simple Stories Carpe Diem. It is the Faith collection. I am using the paper kit, the sticker sheet pad and the bobby pins. I also used Waverly paints, which are not pictured here. Click below if you would like to see my process video:

I used the Illustrated Faith bible mat to stencil on the crosses, then I cut two strips from the paper collection, that I adhered to the side. I then cut a strip of the pink to go across the top. I placed the large sentiment sticker at the top, which says “Be still and know that I am God”, then I randomly placed some of the flower stickers around on the page. I picked out two other sentiment stickers: “faith” and “I am a child of God”, of which I put at the top and bottom of the page. Finally I put the flower bobby pin and tab at the top, then stamped the date at the bottom.
