Scrapbook Expo 2017: Make and Takes

Look at all these super fun paper crafts that I made at the Scrapbook Expo last weekend! These were some make and takes that were at a couple of the booths on the show floor. The bunny and chick were at the Close to my Heart booth  and the coffee cup gift card holders were at the Ropones USA booth. If you would like to see my project share video or my Scrapbook Expo haul video, scroll down for the links.

This cute chick was made with a egg shaped wood cut out that was about an inch thick, so it stands up to make a cute Easter/spring decoration. The feet and beak are also wood cutouts. We just traced the pieces onto patterned paper, cut them out, then glued them to the top of the wood pieces. We then edged everything with ink. The flower was made from a circle cut into a spiral, then twisted to make a rose.

The bunny was cut using one of the Close to My Heart cricut dies, but it was basically a long rectangle with one end rounded off with side flaps. It was scored in 2 spots to fold up to make a pocket to insert a treat or gift card. Watch the video below to see more details:

These adorable coffee gift card holders were from the Ropones USA booth. Here is the link for their website: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RoponesUsa. They sell party supplies, scrapbook supplies, trims and many other items.
