“April Showers Bring May Flowers” Loaded Paper Flower Pot

Today I am sharing a loaded paper flower pot that I designed for a swap on the Loaded Envelopes Galore and More Facebook group. I used the new “Spring Posies” paper pad by Recollections from Michael’s. I was inspired by all of the beautiful flower pot cards that I’ve seen on Pinterest.

For this project, I designed a 3D paper flower pot that is half of a flower pot, so that the back is flat and holds about the same amount as a standard loaded envelope. In this post I have included a PDF template file for the flower pot construction as well as Jpeg files, so that you can load them into Cricut Design Space or the Silhouette program. These files are located at the end of this post. Follow my tutorial on YouTube to learn how to put this flower pot together and make a beautiful loaded flower pot to swap with a friend!

Inside my loaded flower pot, I included 3 wands to mimic flowers in the pot. They were made with paper straws, rosettes and scalloped circles. I also made paper bows, handmade layered flowers and an additional rosette embellishment.

I made two note cards with matching envelopes and two altered tags using cut-aparts and paper from the paper collection.
